Ollie coaching can help with a number of different issues that you might be facing. Due to the unique methods used in Ollie coaching I can help you lessen feelings of anxiety, cure phobias, help with weight loss, improve self esteem and confidence to name a few. The techniques that I use are incredibly well suited to children but equally can be effective for adults as well.
I use a range of techniques that drill down to the root emotional cause of a behaviour with the intention of changing the emotion which should lead to a change in behaviour. I treat the cause not the symptom.
Ollie Coaching uses Neurolinguistic Programming techniques allowing people to reframe past events and attach new emotions to them. We cannot change the past but we can control how we react to future events. That's what Ollie Coaching can do, equip you with the emotional toolkit to respond to future situations differently and in a more positive way.
Ollie coaching is a really fun and playful therapy model that helps children understand where and how they feel their feelings. They can then move into the future feeling empowered that they can handle any situation.
I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years after doing a degree in Economics and Psychology. Over the years I have worked in various different educational environments including sixth form colleges, private boarding schools and grammar schools.
I love working with children and young adults and in 2019, after seeing an advert in Psychologies magazine, I decided to train to be an Ollie coach. My own children were getting older and I also wanted to be able to support them as best I could. Having qualified in 2020 I have used my training to support my students, my own children and clients as well.
As well as being a teacher and coach I am a busy mum with three gorgeous children and a very energetic dog. I love living in the Dorset countryside and enjoy spending time in my garden.

Dorset Ollie Coach offers therapeutic coaching that enables clients to control their emotions in the future. I work with children and adults.
During your first session with me, I will ask you questions to get to know you better and understand what has brought you to me. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the process.
A session Dorset Ollie Coach typically lasts for 60 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences. Initial sessions may be longer in order for me to fully assess your needs.
I offer an initial free 30 minute consultation to see if we are right for each other and for any questions to be asked.
This is very individual, however we are looking at a relatively short space of time. I have known clients to have got what they need in as few as 2 sessions but some clients might need a bit longer and feel that 6-10 sessions is more beneficial. I believe everyone has the answer within them and my job is to give clients the tools to empower them to find that answer.
During the free 30 minute introductory session you can ask me any questions or chat through any concerns and I will do my best to answer. If you feel that I’m not the right coach for you, I will happily refer you to another coach.
This is very much up to you and how you feel your child will react. I generally think that both children and teens open up more without a parent present, however you might not be comfortable with this at the beginning so this is something we can discuss during the introductory session.
This is very much dependent on the age of the client and the presenting issue. I believe that building rapport at the beginning is essential and sometimes this can take longer especially if the child or teenager is not 100% sold on the idea! Before I meet with the child or teen, I will find out a little more about them such as what their interests are and anything they enjoy. This can help me to ‘step into their world’ which is an excellent way to build rapport.
Sessions are led by the client and I try to keep things as relaxed as possible and fairly playful. Everyone is unique and no two sessions are the same.
In Wimborne in dedicated therapy spaces.
